Description

The Western Table Tennis Club is a recreational club open to all interested in table tennis - newcomers, beginners, and advanced players. We offer weekly practices which are great opportunities for members to mingle, have fun, and improve their skills. Furthermore, our tournaments each semester offer great opportunities to compete with people at your skill level, win great prizes, and play with members from regional table tennis clubs across Southwestern Ontario.

About the President

Hi everyone, my name is Tianhang Yang, and I am excited to be the incoming President for Western Table Tennis Club for the 2023-2024 year! I’ve enjoyed playing table tennis since I was in elementary school and bring eight years of professional training experience to the table. I am looking forward to meeting everyone and I am excited about the events our amazing executive team have planned for this year. Past Events

We host two club tournaments every year and we give out prizes for the champion as well as the runner-up. This is the event everyone is excited about and it is usually held near the end of each semester.

Last year, we held a social event at a board game cafe after the tournament. It was a great opportunity for members and executives to get to know each other. We order different apparel for each year e.g. t-shirts and shorts, and possibly hats and socks in the future!

We have coaches who run regular training sessions to help you improve on your techniques and skills.

 

Registration

Registrations for Recreational Sport Clubs will be available online only starting on Monday, September 18th. You can visit Western Sports & Recreation (westernmustangs.ca) to register. Payment options are VISA and MasterCard credit cards (VISA Debit and other debit or credit cards are not accepted).

 

Refund Policy

All memberships can be refunded within 14 days of purchase, minus a 10% administration fee*. After this 14-day trial period, partial refunds will be issued for medical reasons only (with written documentation).

*The 10% administration fee may be waived if transferring to another program/Club.

 

On occasion, certain facilities may not be available due to maintenance, special events, etc. Campus Recreation will provide notice whenever possible, but memberships will not be extended.
